Project
Project Phase
Alterations to an existing multi-level church and hall which could no longer accommodate a growing population. Principal among the needs was enlargement of the worship space, a grade-level entrance with elevator accessing three levels of the building, improved offices and a large and prominent ground-level foyer and reception area. The enlargement of the seating capacity in the worship area was achieved by a two-bay extension in length. This was combined with reversing the location of organ and choir and providing new pulpit and lectern, all of the above furniture being moveable to permit flexible use of choir/clergy area. The housing of bell from the original demolished church in an ornamental cupola on the roof of the new grade-level vestibule provided a historical and ornamental feature.
